About these two holocausts, the indigenous Americans and the African victims of the slave trade, carried out systematically for centuries, what is worth telling in the modern world, built on exploitation and racism?

The purpose of this photographic and journalistic longterm project is to create a choral portrait, a visual and human map from the places of departure and arrival of the slave trade: from Africa to the “New World”: Haiti, Cuba, Brazil.  An investigative and poetical look at the links with the land of origin, handed down in the rites and in the memory of the body; on the interactions of Africans with indigenous American peoples; spaces for meeting and confrontation, solidarity and conflicts between the lasts, cultural and spiritual exchanges, connections, lost or sublimated in the rites, spirituality of the persecuted.
